Dream Beach is a white-sand cove on Nusa Lembongan's southwest coast, framed by limestone cliffs and facing the open ocean. With turquoise water, sunbeds and a few cafes, it is one of the island's most popular beaches, and it lies a short walk from Devil's Tear. Its clifftop setting means you see the whole cove before you reach the sand, and resorts and cafes sit on the headland above.
The beach faces the open ocean, and the waves can be powerful. Strong currents and rips are common, especially on bigger swell days, and swimmers should stay close to shore and heed warning flags. On calm days, the water is clear and inviting, and the cliffs offer shade in the afternoon. The beach can get busy around midday.
Arriving at the clifftop, you see the cove below, with the white sand and turquoise water framed by the cliffs. On the beach, the waves roll in and break hard on the sand, a reminder of the open ocean beyond. In the late afternoon, the light turns soft, and the cliffs glow gold, making it a pleasant spot before walking to Devil's Tear for sunset.
